Milena Jakšić Papac, Partner*

Milena is an Independent Attorney at Law practicing in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners. She is a Partner and head of the Employment practice group. Milena assists clients on various strategic and daily employment issues, with special focus on sensitive cases of termination of employment, structuring of complex compensation & benefits packages, relationships with trade unions and collective bargaining. She also has broad experience in the preparation or revision of numerous employment law documents, advising on employment matters arising from M&A transactions, procedures related to protection from harassment at work and whistleblowing.

Milena graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law and prior to joining Karanovic & Partners, she had worked at the Municipal Court in Subotica. She holds the position as the President of the Foreign Investors Council Human Resources Committee, where she focuses on the changes in the Labour Law, digitalization and simplification of various administrative procedures.
